To start off my post here I will start off my saying that my hubby & I have been trying for a baby for 2 1/2 years. I finally decided to see a doctor to see why I wasn't getting pregnant, I went in for my 1st appt. 2 weeks ago and they sent me for an internal ultrasound. Well yesterday I got a call from my dr. confirming that I have a health problem that is called PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) which has many symptoms but in my case is causing irregular menstrual cycles and infertility. It's not so much a disease but a syndrome that affects women in different ways, every women with pcos is a different case. One of the signs that I also have is called cystic ovaries where (I copied this because I'm still unsure how to explain it): The disorder is characterized by the formation of eight or more follicular cysts of 10 mm or smaller in the ovaries, a process related to the ovary's failure to release an egg (ovum). <--That messes with ovulation thus me not getting pg. It's not impossible for me to get pg but it does require medicine and who knows what else. I have another appt. next Tuesday (17th) to discuss this with my dr.

Anyways, yesterday I was sad about it and felt like I just needed to let out a great big flood of a cry but it never came. Today I put on my big girl panties and choose to move on without feeling sorry for myself because I know the God that I serve is a miracle worker. I know that he has the final word in what the dr.'s say, and that one day I WILL be a mommy and Matt WILL be a daddy. I just ask for prayers that God would have HIS way and that He would protect our marriage thru all this and that we would stay close to each other and Him.

First of all "BIG GIRL PANTIES ON, check!" God is a Miracle WORKER HE IS THE SAME TODAY, YESTERDAY ,AND FOREVER. the SAME God THAT HEALED THE GIRL FROM THE DEAD, MADE A BLIND MAN SEE, MADE A LAME MAN WALK, MADE WOMEN THAT WAS NOT FERTILE FERTILE, "he IS THE SAME" I BELIEVE AND HOLD ONTO THIS SCRIPTURE RIGHT NOW, cause my AUNT IS VERY ill RIGHT NOW, but God is performing a miracle little by little before are very own eyes.
Psalm 126:5- "Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting" I believe God knows what's going on around us, and believe all this is going to be such a awesome powerful testimony on who God is. Monica, keep holding on to what he has promised you. Yes you will have moments in tears, and moments of joy, but your standing still that's all that matter, "you might be wounded, you might be dirty, you might be tired, but you are not giving up. You are a strong soldier in Gods army, and you will have your "testimony"
God is going to use you to speak to thousands of women one day on this, just you wait and We all will be witness it.
For everyone else who reads this "This girl, my friend Is someone you can look up to and see God in her. She is a over comer, and a awesome Women Of God who I am proud to call my Sister, My friend, my prayer partner.

Moni, I have read this several times and keep meaning to post.

I am so sorry that you're going through this. I am so sorry that you feel stupid for waiting so long. You are a smart girl and you went to the dr when YOU were ready.

Now I pray you and Matt will know the route you should go and the steps you should take as you embark on this unfortunate journey! But beware, God has used this journey for AMAZING things in my life! So be open (i know you will!)
